Kate & Justin Rose Foundation
“Inspiring children from the inside out: through nutrition, education and experiences”
When we moved to Orlando in 2004, Justin was fortunate enough to earn $100,000 through his team win in the Tavistock Cup to designate to a charity of our choice. It was an early and important responsibility for a young couple new to the Central Florida area.
Our connection to Orlando’s wonderful community deepened through this gift and increased our desire to help improve the lives of local underprivileged children. In addition to our commitment to the Blessings in a Backpack programme (which we have established in five Orlando schools, feeding 1,622 children each weekend of the school year), our very personal journey into parenthood in 2009 strengthened our resolve to do more.
It is in this spirit that The Kate and Justin Rose Foundation is being formally launched this year to develop our three prong approach to improve these children’s lives –providing nutritional support, funding education and providing ‘first exposure’ positive life experiences for children.
We have been busy and together we have raised $595,431 so far with your support. Thank you for joining us to make a positive impact for children in many communities.
